WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you book your first appointment you will receive an email with a link to your Personal History Intake Form. Please fill this form out before your arrival otherwise plan to arrive 15 minutes early to fill it out on our Tablet, as we are a paperless office. For your subsequent visits please arrive 5 minutes early.
Your treatment time will include an intake, assessment and hands-on time. Your therapist will discuss your reason for the visit, do an assessment and get your written consent if necessary before leaving the room to allow you to undress. You may remove as much of your clothing as you feel comfortable with, keeping in mind that the therapist will be using oil/cream for the massage treatment. Any part of the treatment can be stopped or modified if you do not feel comfortable, including techniques used, the pressure of the massage, lighting and music. Feel free to give the therapist feedback during the treatment as this will ensure that you receive the best care possible.
Please understand that massage therapists only get paid if they are treating. Any missed appointments are costly and prevent us from providing treatment to other clients. We have a 24 hour notice cancellation policy so if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full cost of the treatment as booked. Similarly if you are late for your treatment time you will only receive what time is left of your session.
