OUR STORY
We founded Seraphic Massage Therapy in 1999, inspired by our family’s name, Serafim. As a family-owned and operated clinic, we strive to make every client feel as though they’ve come home to people who genuinely care about them.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Direct Billing Available
We offer direct billing for massage therapy by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with most major insurance companies, depending on your plan and coverage. If direct billing isn’t available or the claim isn’t approved, full payment is required and we’ll provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurer.
Before Your First Visit
Once you book your first appointment, you’ll receive an email with a link to your Personal History Intake Form. Please complete this form before your appointment. If you’re unable to do so in advance, plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete it on our clinic tablet, as we are a paperless office.
For all future visits, we recommend arriving 5 minutes early to ensure your session starts on time.
What to Expect During Your Treatment
Your appointment time includes an intake, assessment, and hands-on treatment. Your therapist will begin by discussing your reason for the visit, performing an assessment, and obtaining written consent if needed. They will then step out of the room to give you privacy to undress to your comfort level. Please note that oil or cream may be used during the massage.
You are encouraged to communicate openly with your therapist at any time. Your comfort is our priority—treatment pressure, techniques, music, or lighting can all be adjusted or stopped at your request.
Late Arrivals & Cancellation Policy
Please understand that our therapists are only compensated when providing treatment. Missed appointments impact both our team and other clients waiting for care.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy: if you miss your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged the full cost of the session.
If you arrive late, your treatment will still end at the scheduled time, and you will be charged for the full session.
